First, I have to say that I’m constantly amazed by the quality and content of the Wordpress documentation and instructions. I’m not used to high quality computer software instructions, and over my many years of computing I’ve grown to expect low quality, difficult to use documentation. That is not the case with Wordpress, in any way. What makes it truly amazing, is that this is an open source product that is free for use by anyone! Bravo to the fine people that have helped put this software package and all the excellent documentation and resources together.
At any rate, I wanted to share one of the resources of the Wordpress community that I have found to be particularly valuable. If you dig through the online documentation at http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page, you’ll eventually find it. It’s a hidden forum called “Your Wordpress” where people post some truly remarkable and just plain ugly wordpress themes and sites for the sole purpose of being critiqued by others. What a learning opportunity—I could spend many hours there. Must…stay…on…task…….
