When I first started this blog, it was with the intent of providing a daily step-by-step guide for you to follow along and see exactly how a new blogger takes a brand new, completely unknown blog, and turns it into a profitable business.  The idea is that as time goes on, you’ll have a detailed case-study to go back and look at to see what works, what doesn’t, and why. 

One thing I haven’t been happy with so far is the frequency that I’ve been posting the "step-by-step" type articles.  I’m finding that I get caught-up in the excitement of improving the blog and writing content, and I just haven’t been taking the time to go back and document everything I’m doing each day. 

If this is going to be a step-by-step guide, it needs to have step-by-step instructions to follow along!  So starting today I’ll be providing daily updates of each step I’m taking–real-time.  I won’t be shy about talking about exactly what I’m doing and how well it’s working.  I’ll still be writing my "foundation" content posts a few times a week, but you’ll find the step-by-step posts intermingled. 

Now, on to the first step!
